Children's and Young People's Groups

Children and young people have their own groups and activities, except on the first Sunday of the month when we all remain together for a service of all age worship.

A crèche facility is available during all services for carers and under 3’s.

Every month on a Sunday evening there is a 'youth cell' meeting involving pizza, games, Bible discussion and prayer.

Prayer and Bible Study Groups

A prayer meeting for the church and community takes place in the third week of the month. 8.00 – 8.30pm. Contact the church for specific details each month.

There are also smaller groups that meet in people’s houses for times of friendship, support, Bible study, prayer and praise.

Baptism

Jesus transforms lives.

Baptism is a visible sign of God's love for us. In baptism, we thank God for his gift of life and publicly acknowledge his love.

It marks a new start: a decision to follow Jesus Christ within the family of the Church. Babies, children and adults can be baptised at Heathcote Parish Church.

Marriage Preparation

As a church we want marriages to flourish. We offer marriage preparation courses to enable prospective husbands and wives to talk through key issues that face all married couples. In the past, such courses have proved to be very popular and beneficial, providing a helpful focus to matters beyond the logistics of the wedding day.

Pastoral Support

In life we all experience times of joy and pain. Just as God promises to always be with us so also the Church seeks to accompany people through the highs and lows in life. Offering a listening ear, prayer, practical support and appropriate care. There are members of our church who are willing and able to offer pastoral support in a wide variety of contexts.

Socials

We enjoy sharing life with one another at Heathcote Parish Church. Throughout the year we enjoy different social occasions. From BBQ's, Sunday lunches, film nights, pub meals we seek to be a welcoming and loving family to one another.
