A sense of community is something we all long to manifest in a pandemic of loneliness. Strength, unity, compassion, and collaboration, can all be found when we connect through creativity and expression.

 

This Christmas time we want to make space for the voices of our community to be shared; through art and camera lenses we hope to collect the many elements of our growing neighbourhood to reveal what is at our heart, and to celebrate the experience and diversity we represent. 

 

Whether you are aged 2 or 92, we invite you to submit your art for display by the end of Sunday 10th December. Our theme this year is ‘The Heart of Christmas’ and we welcome submissions of art and photography pieces that represent what this means to you.

 

Drop your submissions to the welcome desk in the Community Centre foyer, and please include your name, and a line describing the inspiration/message of your piece.

The Centre is open within the following times:

Monday - 09:00 - 13:00

Tuesday - 09:00 - 13:00

Wednesday 09:00 - 13:00

Thursday 09:00 - 15:00

Sunday 09:30 - 12:00

 

Please note that we may not be able to display all pieces, and we request that no offensive material be submitted as this is a family event for all ages. You may take your pieces home with you once the event is finished.
